Dr. Gabriel Dekel, CEO - PhD, MSc, MCIPDr. Gabriel Deckel - CEO

Dr. Dekel has a PhD in political science and local government. Dr Dekel also holds a Masters of Science (M.Sc) degree in Town and Regional Planning from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. His experience includes teaching (research methodology), School of Social Science, local and regional government and graduate course. He is honor associate of Political Science Department, University of Waikato.

Dr Dekel has published numerous planning-related articles (Environments Canada), Plan Canada, The Australian Planner, Urban Studies (UK), Land Use Policy (UK), Municipal World (Canada) and many others. Dr Dekel developed a housing density cost evaluation model.

His work The Cost of Urban Sprawl was presented at the 1997 annual conference of the American Planning Association in San Diego, USA.
 
Nandan Modak, General Manager - BE, PGDIM

Nandan came to us with a degree in Engineering and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Industrial Management.

He has extensive experience in project management and Business Development. His experience and international exposure has played an important part in stabilizing DigiPoll during its unprecedented growth.
 
Ovidiu Motofelea, Production Manager - ME, BCMS

Ovidiu’s impressive experience before DigiPoll includes heading the technical and IT departments of one New Zealand and one European companies.

Ovidiu handles part of our projects and he is also responsible for our IT, networking and systems operations.

His qualifications include two degrees, a Masters in Electrical Engineering and one in Computer and Mathematical Science.
 
DigiPollsters (Interviewers)

Interviewers are recruited on the basis of their long-term availability to the company, as they undergo an extensive training and development process. DigiPollsters come from a diverse range of backgrounds, reflecting the demographic diversity within New Zealand.

There is a special emphasis on Maori interviewers, as DigiPoll is the main political pollster of the Maori electorate. As DigiPoll uses state of the art technology, it searches for expertise in keyboarding and familiarity with computers.

Staff must also demonstrate excellent telephone and people skills.
